About Our Logo: DarkHart Press messes with its logo. The images in our logo contain "harts" (stags) and "hearts" in different ways. The Horned God of old European folklore was a jumping off point. We also have a faun (think the Greek Forest God Pan) and bleeding hearts (the flower) in the full composition. To see a larger version of the logo, go here. Our Spine logo is a simple gray hart surrounded by red and black rays. While we are not pagan, we respect the traditions and symbolism found in the traditions. About the Press: We love horror and dark fantasy—those stories that make you look under the bed, think twice about what is real and what isn't, and change the way you look at even the most innocent things. Hopefully the way we look and think, wouldn't scare you off too badly, if you met us in person. Of course, our Publisher scares everybody—it's in her job description! |
